Product Naming: The product model is PGM08, ‘Rack’ means it is a rack structure, which is the infrastructure of the whole control system, and can be used to install and fix all kinds of control modules, in order to realise the function expansion and integration of the system.

Physical Characteristics

Size: usually has a small size specification, about 5.0 inches × 3.0 inches × 10.0 inches, that is, 12.7cm × 7.6cm × 25.4cm, can be adapted to a more compact installation space, easy to lay out in a variety of industrial control cabinets or equipment.

Performance Features

Module Installation and Expansion: The standardised module slot design is compatible with various types of control modules, such as power supply modules, CPU modules, input/output (I/O) modules, etc. The internal slot layout is reasonable. Mechanical and environmental adaptability: the rack is made of durable engineering plastics or metal, with high mechanical strength and stability, able to withstand a certain degree of vibration, impact and external extrusion, and effectively protect the internal installation of equipment from damage. In terms of environmental adaptability, it can adapt to a wide range of operating temperatures, generally - 5 ℃ to 50 ℃, and has a certain degree of dust-proof, moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant ability, can be in the harsh industrial environment for a long time in the stable operation of the field, reducing the failure rate and maintenance costs of the equipment.

Application Fields

Small industrial control system: It is suitable for the automation control of small industrial production equipment, such as small food processing production line, packaging machinery, printing equipment, etc. It can be used as the core control unit to connect various kinds of control equipment. It can be used as the core control unit, connecting various sensors, actuators and operation interfaces to achieve automated control and monitoring of the production process, improving production efficiency and product quality.

Remote I/O Station of Distributed Control System: In distributed control system, it can be used as the control core of remote I/O station to interact with the master station through network communication to achieve centralised management and monitoring of remote equipment. For example, in the distributed production workshop of some large-scale factories or remote equipment monitoring scenarios, PGM08 Rack and related I/O modules can be installed to achieve the acquisition of on-site equipment status and the output of control signals.

Laboratory and scientific research equipment control: In all kinds of laboratory automation systems and scientific research equipment, such as chemical analysis instruments, biological experimental equipment, material testing equipment, etc., its compact size and flexible scalability enable it to meet the space and functional requirements of the laboratory. The corresponding control module and data acquisition module can be installed to achieve automated control of the experimental process, data recording and analysis, to improve the efficiency and accuracy of experiments.
