Performance Features

Fuse Function: As a fuse module, its core function is to cut off the circuit through the fusing of the fuse when the current in the circuit is too large, so as to protect the equipment and components connected to the circuit from short-circuit currents, overload currents and other fault currents, and to ensure the safety and reliability of the system.

SI-Unit Integration: SI-Unit (International System of Units) is integrated, which can work better with the equipment or system that adopts the International System of Units (SI) for measurement and control, facilitating parameter setting, monitoring and control under a unified standard of measurement, and improving the overall coordination and accuracy of the system.

Signal transmission and indication: the module can not only realise the basic protection function of the fuse, but also has the function of signal transmission and indication. When the fuse breaks, it can send a corresponding signal to the control system in order to promptly notify the operator or the automation system that a fuse action event has occurred. At the same time, the module may be equipped with an indicator light, intuitively show the working status of the fuse, such as the indicator light is on during normal operation, and the indicator light is off or changes to another colour after the fuse is blown, which is convenient for the site personnel to quickly understand the status of the fuse.

Application Fields

– QAL3 data transfer if the QAL3 monitoring option is integrated in the gas analyzer  

– data transmission with Modbus TCP/IP protocol (measured  values, status signals and control signals)  as well as the integrated I/O modules depending on the functional  range and order  

· Profibus module with one RS485 and one MBP interface (also  according to VDI 4201 Part 2),  

· Modbus module with one RS485 and one RS232 interface (also  according to VDI 4201 Part 3),  

· Digital I/O module with four digital inputs and four digital outputs,  

· 2-way analog output module with two analog outputs,  

· 4-way analog output module with four analog outputs.
