Functional Features

Rich control types: two control types, feeder circuit with contactor and feeder circuit with contactor (control button box), have been added to better meet various complex motor control scenarios and user needs.

Optimisation of two-speed motor control: The control modes of double-winding two-speed motors and single-winding two-speed motors have been differentiated, which improves the control accuracy and reliability of different types of two-speed motors and ensures the stable operation of motors at different speeds.

Improvement of starting logic: The control logic of direct starting with soft starter and forward and reverse starting has been modified, which further optimises the starting process of the motor, reduces the current impact and mechanical wear during starting, and prolongs the service life of the motor and related equipment.

Adjustment of control authority: The control authority of M10x-M has been modified to be consistent with that of M10x-P, which unifies the authority management of different control units and improves the overall coordination and operability of the system.

Enhanced Digital Input/Output Functions: All digital inputs (DIs) can be configured with functions and contact types, so that users can flexibly set the functions and contact types of DIs according to actual needs, thus enhancing the flexibility and adaptability of the system. At the same time, the switching outputs have added functions such as output status configuration, which is convenient for users to monitor and manage the output signals.

Perfect protection function: Starting time protection function is added, which can effectively prevent the motor from blocking during the starting process and protect the motor and controller from damage. In addition, the TOL (Tripping Off Protection) can be selected to be turned on or off during the starting time, and PTC short-circuit protection has been added to further improve the safety and reliability of the system.

Communication function enhancement: In terms of communication, two MODBUS communication rates are added: 38400bps and 57600bps, which improves the data transmission speed and efficiency, meets the requirements of different users for communication rates, and enables the controller to better communicate and work together with other devices.

Expanded monitoring functions: It can monitor more operating data, such as current phase imbalance, PTC resistance value, TOL release time, TOL reset time, number of starts and DI status, etc. It also realises line voltage measurement, replacing the existing phase voltage measurement, which provides the user with more comprehensive and accurate motor operating information, and helps to find and solve potential problems in time.

Abundant maintenance data: More maintenance data, such as the number of disconnections and time-stamped event records, are provided to facilitate the user's equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, reducing equipment maintenance costs and downtime.

Operator panel features

Improved protection: The protection class of the operator panel MDx has been increased to IP54, which protects it from dust and moisture and makes it suitable for use in harsher industrial environments.

Enhanced display function: You can select the colour and function of the LEDs, and also select the display information of the MD21, which supports two languages, Simplified Chinese and English, for the convenience of use and operation by different users. In addition, users can design parameters directly through the MD21, and the parameter setting port has been changed to mini USB parameters, which improves the convenience and efficiency of parameter setting.
