OVERVIEW
CI773F is a communication interface module on the ABB AC 900F controller, which supports a variety of communication protocols and fieldbus technologies to communicate with a wide range of devices.The design of the CI773F module makes it possible to connect or disconnect the operation without interfering with the CPU module, thus improving the flexibility and maintainability of the system.
Key Features

Connection and disconnection operation
Under power failure: After the controller is powered off, you can press the latch on the top of the CI/CM interface and then disconnect the module from the slot. This is a common method for module replacement or maintenance.
Under Power On: Since the CI773F supports hot-swap function, it is possible to connect or disconnect the module while the controller is powered on. However, please note that before connecting or disconnecting the module, make sure that the communication interface is disconnected by using the TD 951 display unit or by connecting to a computer (terminal programme) via the DIAG diagnostic interface.
