BENTLY 330016-14-01-03-00-00-01 Dual Vibration Monitor
DESCRIPTION
The Bently Nevada 3300 Series Monitoring System provides continuous, online monitoring suitable for machinery protection applications, and is designed to fully meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute's API 670 standard for such systems. The system's highly modular design consists of an Instrument Rack, ac or dc Power Supply, System Monitor, and one or more monitor modules chosen to provide the required monitoring functionality. This building-block approach makes the 3300 System versatile, expandable, and cost-effective as your monitoring requirements change.
Features:
Continuous, Online Monitoring
Temperature, Pressure, and Overspeed Detection
Vibration and Position Monitoring
Designed for Machine Protection
Versatile, Expandable, and Cost-Effective
Technical Specifications
Power Supply: User programmable to -24 Vdc or -18 Vdc, current limited to a single monitor board.
Frequency Response: User programmable to 4 to 4,000 Hz (240 to 240,000 cpm) or 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36,000 cpm), -3 dB. Note that the 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36,000 cpm) frequency range is not recommended for machine applications requiring fast start-up and coasting rates and acceleration/deceleration rates greater than 1,000 rpm/s.
Outputs: User programmable between +4 and +20 mA, 0 and -10 Vdc, or +1 and +5 Vdc. The voltage or current output is proportional to the full scale of the programmed monitor. For each channel, a separate recorder output is provided. Short-circuiting of the recorder output has no effect on monitor operation.
Output impedance (voltage output): 100Ω with a minimum load resistance of 10k.
Voltage compliance (current output): 0 to +12 Vdc over the load range. 0 to 600 load resistance when using the +4 to +20 mA option.
Accuracy: Logger accuracy at +25°C (+77°F) (in addition to signal conditioning accuracy) is 0.7% of signal with 0.09 mA offset for +4 to +20 mA; 1.1% of signal with 10 mV offset for +1 to +5 Vdc; and 1.1% of signal with 15 mV offset for 0 to -10 Vdc.
CHARACTERISTIC
Liquid Crystal Display: Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with non-multiplexed vertical bar graphs (LCD), each channel has its own 63-segment LCD. on the third centre scale, the probe gap is indicated.
Alarm Relay: An alarm relay module can be installed behind each monitor, and every 3300 system must include at least one relay module.
Input Signals: Accepts one or two proximity probe signals with user programmable sensitivity of 100 mV/mil (4 V/mm) or 200 mV/mil (8 V/mm).
Power Consumption: Nominal power consumption is 2 watts.
Proximitor Sensor
The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporates numerous improvements over previous designs. Its physical packaging allows you to use it in high-density DIN-rail installations. You can also mount the sensor in a traditional panel mount configuration, where it shares an identical 4-hole mounting “footprint” with older Proximitor Sensor designs. The mounting base for either option provides electrical isolation and eliminates the need for separate isolator plates. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is highly immune to radio frequency interference, allowing you to install it in fiberglass housings without adverse effects from nearby radio frequency signals. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor’s improved RFI/EMI immunity satisfies European CE mark approvals without requiring special shielded conduit or metallic housings, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity.
Extended Temperature Range Applications
An extended temperature range (ETR) probe and ETR extension cable are available for applications in which either the probe lead or extension cable may exceed the standard 177˚C (350˚F) temperature specification. The ETR probe has an extended temperature rating for up to 218˚C (425˚F). The ETR extension cable rating is up to 260˚C (500˚F). Both the ETR probe and cable are compatible with standard temperature probes and cables, for example, you can utilize an ETR probe with the 330130 extension cable. The ETR system uses the standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. Note that when you use any ETR component as part of your system, the ETR component limits the system accuracy to the accuracy of the ETR system.
