DESCRIPTION
The 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height module that provides four relay outputs. Any number of 4-Channel Relay Modules can be placed in any of the slots to the right of the Transient Data Interface Module. Each output of the 4- Channel Relay Module can be independently programmed to perform voting logic. Each relay utilized on the 4-Channel Relay Module includes Alarm Drive Logic.
OVERVIEW
The BENTLY 3500/32M 4-Channel Relay Module, part of the BENTLY 3500 series, is a full-height module that provides four relay outputs. This means that the module is highly flexible and expandable and can be adapted to different application requirements.
Configuration and compatibility
The module can be placed in any slot on the right side of the Transient Data Interface Module, and users are free to configure the location of the module as required.
The 3500/32M requires version 2.40 or higher of the 3500 Data Acquisition Software and version 1.40 or higher of the 3500 Data Display Software to ensure proper operation. It also requires the 3500/22 Transient Data Interface (TDI) module.
Programming and Functionality
Each output of the BENTLY 3500/32M can be independently programmed to perform voting logic. This provides the user with greater control and flexibility to personalise each output to suit specific application requirements.
Each relay used on the module contains alarm drive logic. The alarm drive logic is programmed using AND and OR logic, and can use alarm inputs (alarm and hazardous states), ‘Uncertain’ states, or individual PPLs from any monitored channel or any combination of monitored channels in the rack, meaning that the module has powerful alarm and monitoring capabilities to detect and deal with all kinds of anomalies.

Indicator light status
OK LED: illuminated when the module is working normally.
TX/RX LED: used for transmission and reception, blinking indicates normal communication between the module and other modules in the rack.
CH ALARM LED: illuminated to indicate that the relay channel is in alarm.
