Two lines of jumper switches are situated parallel to one of the shortboard edges on the relay board. There are over 30 jumper switches. 

A single toggle switch is positioned near one of two LED indicators on the front edge of the DS3800HUMC. The color of one LED is red, whereas the color of the other is yellow. A right-angled connector is also present on this edge. Extractor clips have been installed in the factory-made holes on each board edge. A single backplane connector is populated on the opposite board edge, which is similarly factory drilled. Multiple pin connectors are used to mount small daughter boards, resistor network arrays, integrated circuits, resistors, and integrated circuits on the other board components.
