Within the Mark IV series, the DS3800NTSA serves as a scanner board. With roll pins, two nylon extractor clips are fastened to the right corners of the board. Depending on whether the board is being installed or uninstalled, these clips serve as both a handle and a lever point. There are three PCB mating connectors on the DS3800NTSA.
On the right edge, there are two 218A4637-P2 right-angled male connectors. On the opposite side of the board, there is an A-mp 27791-1 7733 218A4683-00l connector. Near the first two connectors, there are two test sites. Four potentiometers, one jumper, and twelve transistors are used in the DS3800NTSA. Carbon composite and metal film resistors are used in its material. Ceramic, polyester film, and other materials can be used as capacitors. Nine integrated circuits are present on the board. The twelve CP Clare mercury wetted contact relays are the most visible component on the DS3800NTSA (HGS2x 5040 218A4826 1.) Two parallel lines of six relays are used. The second and third relays of each row are connected with a board stiffener.
