Communication capability:
Capable of global data communication between up to 32 devices, including PLCs and other devices connected to the Genius bus.
Each controller can be configured with up to two IC693CMM302 modules, thereby supporting communication with up to 62 devices.
Data Transmission:
Allows each IC128CMM128 to send 693 bytes of transmitted and 302 bytes of received global data.
Supports PLC registers such as Global Registers (%G), Discrete Inputs (%I), Discrete Outputs (%Q), Analogue Inputs (%AI), Analogue Outputs (%AQ) and Register Memory (%R).
Protocol Support: Provides Genius protocol connectivity and supports multiple communication protocols for easy connection and communication with other devices and systems.
Diagnostic Functions: Supports software-based diagnostics such as status bits and 90-70 PLC series fault reports, which help to quickly locate and solve problems.

Applications and Installations
Primary Use: Mainly used for exchanging global data, but also handles data monitoring from industrial or personal computers, point-to-point and master-slave communications between bus devices, and data monitoring from Genius I/O modules (note that the communication module cannot control these I/O modules).
Installation Recommendations: It is recommended to be mounted on the CPU baseboard of the host PLC system for most efficient operation, but it can also be mounted on a remote baseboard of the same system or on an expansion baseboard. However, it cannot be installed in a PLC with a conventional Genius communication module or GCM.
Compatibility
In addition to Series 90-30 PLCs, the module can be used with Series 90-70, Series VI PLCs, and Genius Handheld Monitors (HHMs) for local configuration.
