Performance characteristics

Number of channels: the module has 16 channels, can handle multiple analogue signals at the same time, to meet the needs of a variety of industrial sites with different signal acquisition and control.

Signal type support: Support a variety of analogue signal types, including voltage, current and temperature signal input and output, input voltage range of - 10V to 10V, input current range of 0mA to 20mA, output voltage range of - 10V to 10V, output current range of 0mA to 20mA, can be widely used in a variety of industrial sensors and actuators connection.

Accuracy and Resolution: With an accuracy of up to 0.1% and a resolution of 12 bits, the analogue signals can be accurately acquired and output to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the industrial control system and to meet the requirements of high-precision control in industrial applications.

Application Fields

Industrial automation control system: In all kinds of industrial automation production lines, such as automobile manufacturing, machinery processing, food and beverage production, etc., it can be used to connect temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow meters and other analogue sensors, transmit the collected analogue signals to the PLC for processing, and at the same time, receive the output signals from the PLC to control control valves, inverters and other actuators, so as to achieve the precise control of all kinds of physical quantities in the production process. Precise control of various physical quantities in the production process.

Process control system: In the chemical, petroleum, natural gas and other process industries, it is used to monitor and control the temperature, pressure, flow, liquid level and other parameters in the production process to ensure the safe and stable operation of the production process and guarantee the consistency of product quality. For example, in the temperature control of chemical reactor, the module collects the signal from the temperature sensor and transmits it to the controller, which outputs a control signal to adjust the heating or cooling equipment according to the set value, so that the temperature in the reactor is kept within the set range.

Energy management system: In the monitoring and management system of energy production, transmission and distribution, it can be used to connect power meters, water meters, gas meters and other energy measuring equipment, collect energy consumption data and transmit it to the energy management system to achieve real-time monitoring of energy consumption and data analysis, which can provide a basis for the rational distribution of energy and the formulation of energy-saving measures.

Supported ABB I/O Systems and Families

• S800 I/O, a distributed modular I/O system for communication via ModuleBus  and PROFIBUS DP. 

• S900 I/O, a remote I/O system (for hazardous areas) that can be connected to  PLCs via PROFIBUS DP. 

• S200 I/O and S200L I/O, two compatible, modular I/O systems. S200 I/O  modules can be connected via CI856 or PROFIBUS DP to PLCs. • S100 I/O, a rack-based I/O system that can be connected to PLC using the  CI856 interface module. 

• Satt I/O, makes it possible to use Satt Rack I/O (an older Satt I/O system)  connected to PLC using the CI865 communication interface.

· 1 interface for connecting communication modules (e.g. 07 KP 90) 

· 2 serial interfaces COM1, COM2

· LEDs for displaying operating conditions and error messages 

· Detachable screw-type terminal blocks 

· Fastening by screws or by snapping the device onto a DIN rail 

· The lithium battery 07 LE 90 can be put into the battery compartment in order to 

– store and backup the user program in the RAM 

– store and backup data which is additionally contained in the RAM, e.g. the status of flags
