Communication protocol support: A variety of communication protocols are supported to accommodate different industrial automation systems and devices. Common communication protocols include Modbus, Profibus, etc. These protocols ensure seamless communication with other devices (e.g., PLC, DCS, host computer, etc.). For example, in an automation system using the Modbus protocol, the remote binary input unit can easily exchange data with other devices in the system.

Diagnostic and Status Indication Functions

Fault Diagnostic Capability: It has certain fault diagnostic functions to detect its own hardware faults as well as abnormalities in the signal input channels. For example, it can detect whether the input signal is out of the normal range, whether there are faults such as open or short circuit. When the fault is detected, it will prompt the fault information to the user through corresponding ways (such as indicator flashing, sending fault code to the control system, etc.), which is convenient for the user to locate and solve the problem quickly.

Status Indicator Lamps: Equipped with status indicator lamps for intuitively displaying the working status and signal condition.
