Functional Characteristics

Data processing and exchange function:

The module has a powerful data processing capability, capable of efficiently processing all kinds of data from the industrial site, including receiving, analyzing and processing data collected by sensors, equipment operation status data, control commands and so on.

As a network processor, it plays the role of core data exchange in the industrial network, which can coordinate the data transmission between different devices and systems, ensure the smooth transmission of information in the network, and realize the cooperative work between different devices and systems. For example, in an automated factory, it can handle information from different workshops and different devices, and summarize and distribute various data (e.g. temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) on the production line.

Communication protocol support:

Supports a variety of industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc., enabling it to communicate with a wide range of industrial devices and systems. This makes it possible to exchange data with a variety of PLCs, DCSs (distributed control systems), HMIs (human-machine interfaces), and other devices to achieve system integration. For example, it can communicate with remote I/O modules using the Modbus protocol, and with devices in an industrial Ethernet network using the Ethernet/IP protocol to realize remote monitoring and control of production processes.

It can be used as a bridge for protocol conversion. When different devices use different communication protocols, the INNPM11 module can convert the data of one protocol to that of another, thus realizing the interconnection between different devices and improving the compatibility and expandability of the system.

Network management function:

It can manage the industrial network, including the construction and maintenance of network topology, monitoring and management of network nodes. It can monitor the connection status of devices in the network in real time, and when a device fails or the connection is disconnected, it can detect and issue an alarm in time.

It is capable of controlling and optimizing network traffic, reasonably allocating network bandwidth according to the data transmission needs of different devices, ensuring priority transmission of important data, and improving the operational efficiency of the network. For example, in data-intensive industrial environments, it can ensure that the control commands of key equipment are sent and received with priority to safeguard the normal operation of production.

System Integration and Configuration Function:

Convenient for system integration, through simple configuration, it can seamlessly interface with existing industrial automation systems, bringing them under the control and management of the whole system. It can be parameterized to adapt to different industrial environments and application requirements.

Supporting remote configuration and maintenance, the module can be operated remotely through the network to modify its parameters and configuration without the need for on-site operation, which improves the convenience and efficiency of maintenance.

Technical Parameters

Physical Characteristics:

The size is usually in a certain range, for example, the length is about 20 - 30cm, the width is about 10 - 20cm, the height is about 5 - 10cm, and the weight is usually about 0.5 - 1.5kg, these parameters may be different according to the specific product models and configurations.

The casing is generally made of industrial-grade materials with a certain degree of resistance to shock, vibration and electromagnetic interference, in order to adapt to the harsh environment of the industrial site.

Power supply characteristics:

Usually powered by 24V DC power supply, the working voltage range may be between 18V - 30V DC, which can adapt to the fluctuation of power supply voltage in the industrial site to a certain extent.

Power consumption is relatively low, usually around 10 - 30W, which helps to reduce the overall energy consumption of the system, while also taking into account the heat dissipation design.

Processor performance:

Equipped with a high-performance processor, the specific performance parameters may vary depending on the version of the product, but is sufficient to meet the complex data processing and communication needs in industrial environments.

With a certain amount of memory capacity for storing programs, data and configuration information to ensure the normal operation of the module and temporary storage of data.

Communication performance:

Supports a variety of communication interfaces, such as Ethernet interface (RJ45), RS - 485 interface, etc. The Ethernet interface supports different communication speeds, such as 10/100Mbps or 1000Mbps.

The communication distance of different interfaces is different, for example, RS-485 interface can reach longer communication distance under lower baud rate, which is suitable for long-distance data transmission; Ethernet interface can cover a certain LAN range under standard network environment.
