Functional Features

High-precision Position Measurement: Designed for precise measurement of linear displacement or position, it can be used with LVDT sensor to convert the analog signal output from LVDT sensor into digital signal to realize high-precision measurement of position, which can satisfy the strict requirements for position control in industrial production.

Signal Conversion and Processing: Amplify, filter and linearize the weak signals of LVDT sensors to improve the quality and stability of the signals and ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. For example, in industrial environments where electromagnetic interference exists, noise is removed by the filtering function to make the measurement signal purer.

Multi-channel input: Usually with multiple input channels, multiple LVDT sensors can be connected at the same time to realize simultaneous measurement and monitoring of multiple positions, which is suitable for complex systems that require precise control and monitoring of multiple positions.

Strong compatibility: As part of the ABB Bailey Infi 90 system, it has good compatibility and synergy with other modules and equipment of the system, and can be easily integrated into the existing control system to realize the overall optimization and upgrading of the system.

Technical Parameters

Input range: Supports the input range of a variety of LVDT sensors, which can generally adapt to LVDT sensors with different ranges, such as sensors with measuring ranges from a few millimeters to dozens of millimeters or even larger, in order to meet the position measurement needs in different application scenarios.

Measurement Accuracy: With high measurement accuracy, the measurement error can be controlled within 0.1% - 0.5% of full scale, which can provide accurate and reliable position measurement results and is suitable for industrial applications with high requirements for position accuracy.

Resolution: With high resolution, generally up to micron level or even higher, it can accurately detect small position changes, providing strong support for high-precision position control.

Operating Temperature Range: Wide operating temperature range, usually can work stably between - 20 ℃ and + 60 ℃, can adapt to the harsh environmental conditions of the industrial site, to ensure that the normal operation in different temperature environments.

Application Scenarios

Power industry: In power plant turbines, generators and other equipment, it is used to measure the axial displacement of the rotor, radial displacement and valve opening and other key parameters, through the accurate measurement and monitoring of these positional parameters, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment, and to prevent the occurrence of equipment failures and accidents.

Metallurgical industry: In the process of steel production, it can be used to measure the position of rolls in rolling mills, the thickness of steel strips, and the liquid level of crystallizer in continuous casting machines, etc., so as to realize precise control and quality monitoring of the production process, and to improve product quality and production efficiency.

Chemical industry: in the chemical reactor, pipeline valves and other equipment, used to measure the position of the stirring shaft, valve opening and closing position, etc., to ensure the safety and stability of the chemical production process, to prevent leakage, explosion and other accidents due to the abnormal position.

Aerospace industry: in the testing and monitoring of aircraft engines, landing gears and other key components, it is used to measure the displacement and positional changes of the components, which provides important data support for the design, development and maintenance of the aircraft, and ensures the flight safety and performance of the aircraft.
