Product Overview

The NI PXI-6602 module has eight 32-bit counters/timers and 32 TTL/CMOS-compatible digital I/O lines, eight of which are dedicated digital I/O lines and the remaining 24 are shared with the counters/timers. This enables it to perform a wide range of counter/timer measurement tasks, such as encoder positioning measurement, event counting, cycle measurement, pulse width measurement, pulse generation, pulse sequence generation, and frequency measurement.

Eight 32-bit counters/timers provide highly accurate time and counting values.

Maximum source frequency up to 80MHz (up to 125MHz with predefined scaling) to meet high-speed measurement needs.

Rich digital I/O functions:

32 digital I/O lines supporting TTL/CMOS levels for digital signal input and output.

8 dedicated digital I/O lines and 24 shared digital I/O lines provide flexible signal connection options.

High-speed DMA conversion capability:

Supports 3 simultaneous high-speed DMA conversions to improve data transfer efficiency.

Digital De-Jitter Filter:

Built-in digital de-jitter filter effectively filters out jitter and interference in the signal to improve measurement accuracy.
