Basic Properties

Physical properties:

Appearance and size: usually flat, relatively narrow width, with a certain degree of flexibility and bendability, to facilitate wiring and connection within the equipment. The length is generally able to meet the needs of specific inter-equipment connection, in practice there may be a variety of standard lengths to choose from, can also be customised according to specific requirements.

Marking and material: The cable surface is printed with clear model number ‘NKTM01-11’ and other relevant markings, such as brand and specification. Its conductor is usually made of metal materials such as copper or aluminium, which has good electrical conductivity, and the insulation layer is usually made of polyester film, PVC and other materials, which can provide good insulation and mechanical protection.

Electrical Characteristics:

Signal transmission type: mainly used for transmitting digital and analogue signals to ensure accurate and fast transmission of various data between I/O modules and terminal modules, such as analogue signals collected by sensors and digital control signals from controllers.

Transmission Rate and Stability: With high signal transmission rate, it can meet the real-time requirements of industrial automation control system, and the signal attenuation is small within the specified transmission distance, which can ensure the integrity and accuracy of the signal and reduce the signal distortion and BER.

Rated voltage and current: The rated voltage is generally designed to adapt to the common voltage range in the industrial field, such as about 300V, and the rated current is determined according to the specific application scenarios and load requirements, and usually meets the normal operating current requirements of the connected equipment.

Functions and Roles

Achieve inter-module connection and communication: as the connection bridge between I/O module and terminal module, it reliably transmits various signals, including input/output digital signals, analogue signals, etc., to ensure smooth communication between the two modules, achieve data exchange and sharing, and enable the whole control system to operate normally.

Ensure the stability and reliability of the system: its good electrical and mechanical properties help to reduce the interference and faults in the signal transmission process, improve the stability and reliability of the system, reduce the maintenance cost and downtime of the system, and ensure the continuity and safety of the industrial production process.

Application Fields

Industrial automation field: Widely used in various industrial automation production lines, such as automobile manufacturing, machining, food and beverage industries, used to connect I/O modules and terminal modules in production equipment, to achieve automated control and monitoring of the production process.

Power system: in power plants, substations and other places, it can be used to connect the I/O modules and terminal modules of the monitoring system of the generator set, the automatic protection system of the substation and other equipments to realise the remote monitoring and automation control of the power equipments.

Intelligent buildings: In the automation control system of intelligent buildings, I/O modules and terminal modules used to connect sensors, actuators and other equipment in the building control system, realising centralised control and automated management of various equipment in the building, and improving the energy utilisation efficiency and comfort of the building.
