ABB NKTM01-5 Termination Module Cable

Basic Characteristics

Physical Characteristics: The length is usually about 5 feet, and the outer jacket is made of black or grey polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which has good flexibility and abrasion resistance and is easy to be installed and used for a long time in the industrial site, and the cables are usually printed with clear markings such as model number, specification and brand.

Electrical Characteristics: The rated voltage is usually around 300V, which can transmit signals stably under normal working voltage. With high signal transmission rate, it can quickly and accurately transmit digital and analogue signals between high-density TUs and NKTM01-5 terminal modules to meet the real-time requirements of industrial automation systems. Within the specified transmission distance, the degree of signal attenuation is low, which can ensure the integrity of the signal and reduce the problems of signal distortion or BER caused by signal attenuation.

Mechanical properties: with a certain degree of tensile strength, can withstand a certain degree of external pull and will not be easily damaged, to ensure the stability of the connection in the process of installation and use. Soft and easy to bend, convenient in different installation environments for wiring and connection, can be adapted to a variety of complex industrial site layout.

Function and Role

Signal Transmission and Expansion: The main function is to transmit signals accurately and stably between the high-density TU and the NKTM01-5 terminal module to achieve the expansion and transmission of data, including digital input/output signals, analogue input/output signals, etc., to ensure the smooth interaction of information between the field equipment and the control system.

System connection and compatibility: As a specific extension cable, it ensures reliable connection and compatibility with high-density TU and NKTM01-5 terminal module, which helps the integration and stable operation of the whole system, and improves the system's automation control level and production efficiency.

Application Areas

Industrial automation control system: In all kinds of industrial automation production lines, such as automobile manufacturing, machining, food and beverage industries, it is used to connect the high-density TU interface and NKTM01-5 terminal module of automation control equipment to achieve precise control and monitoring of the production process.

Power system: In power plants and substations, high-density TU interfaces and NKTM01-5 terminal modules are used to connect the monitoring system of generator sets, automated protection system of substations and other equipment to achieve remote monitoring and automation control of power equipment.

Chemical and petrochemical industry: In chemical production process, it can be used to connect the high-density TU interfaces of various types of sensors and actuators with the NKTM01-5 terminal module of the control system, such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, regulating valves, etc., to achieve precise control and safety monitoring of chemical production process.
