Functionality

Optical fibre communication function:

High-speed and stable transmission: adopting optical fibre as the communication medium can achieve high-speed and stable data transmission. Compared with the traditional electrical signal transmission, optical fibre has higher bandwidth and lower signal attenuation, which can ensure the fast and accurate transmission of large amounts of data between remote devices, and meet the requirements of industrial automation systems for real-time and reliability.

Strong anti-interference ability: As optical fibre transmits optical signals, it is not affected by electromagnetic interference, so in the industrial field, even if there is a large number of electrical equipment generating electromagnetic noise, it can ensure the quality of the signal transmission, effectively reducing the error rate of data transmission, and improving the stability of the system.

Remote I/O Function: As a remote I/O terminal unit, it can connect various input/output devices in the field, such as sensors and actuators, with the central control system. It can receive signals from field devices and convert them into digital signals for transmission to the central control system; at the same time, it can also convert the control signals issued by the central control system into signals suitable for field devices to achieve remote control and monitoring of field devices, greatly expanding the coverage of the control system, and facilitating the centralised management and control of devices distributed in different locations.
