Functional features

Double-breakpoint design: The novel double-breakpoint design and double-spring operation mechanism make the switch more compact and powerful, which can effectively improve the performance and reliability of the switch and achieve more functions in the same space.

Visual Window Design: The unique visual window design, together with the padlockable handle and a variety of accessories, provides the most reliable safety guarantee for the operator, enabling the operator to intuitively observe the status of the switch, and preventing misoperation through the padlocked handle, ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel.

Adaptation to various environments: The switch can be adapted to various harsh environments, even under closed conditions, without having to consider capacity reduction, and its rated thermal current is 80 A in both free air and closed environments, which meets the requirements of use in different environments.

Outstanding DC breaking capacity: With excellent DC breaking capacity, no capacity reduction is required even under 1000VDC system voltage, which can be widely used in DC systems, such as solar energy systems, providing reliable solutions for system breaking and isolation.

Multiple operation modes: Both motorised and manual operation are possible, the motorised operation is convenient and fast, while the manual operation can be used as a back-up in case of motorised failure to ensure the normal opening and closing of the switch.

Fields of application

Low-voltage switchgear: generally used as a main switch in low-voltage switchgear for power distribution, starting/stopping motors and isolating loads during maintenance, providing reliable power isolation and protection for the equipment in the switchgear, ensuring that the equipment is completely disconnected from the power supply during maintenance, and safeguarding the personal safety of maintenance personnel.

Motor control centre: it can be used in motor control centre as an on-site isolation switch for motors, which can quickly cut off the connection between motors and power supply when motors are under maintenance or faults, preventing accidental start-ups and electrocution accidents.

Electrical equipment maintenance: as a maintenance switch for all kinds of electrical equipment, it provides a clearly visible disconnection point for the maintenance personnel during equipment maintenance to ensure the safety of maintenance work.

Solar system: Applicable to all levels of solar system converter boxes, inverters and battery systems, providing a solution for the disconnection and isolation of these devices, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the solar system.

OTHER INFORMATION

• The operator panel is designed for stationary installation on a planar surface, where the following conditions are fulfilled: 

– no high explosive risks 

– no strong magnetic fields 

– no direct sunlight 

– no large, sudden temperature changes 

• Install the operator panel according to the accompanying installation instructions. 

• Ground the operator panel according to the accompanying installation instructions. 

• Only qualified personnel may install the operator panel. 

• Separate the high voltage, signal and supply cables. 

• Make sure that the voltage and polarity of the power source is correct before connecting the operator panel to the power outlet. 

• Peripheral equipment must be appropriate for the application and location. 

• In a Zone 2 environment, this equipment shall be installed in an enclosure that provides a degree of protection not less than IP 54 or greater than IP 65 in accordance with IEC/EN 600079-0. The IP rating of the equipment is limited to the IP rating of the enclosure it is to be installed into. 

• In a Zone 22 environment, this equipment shall be installed in an enclosure that provides a degree of protection not less than IP 64 or greater than IP 65 in accordance with IEC/EN 600079-0. The IP rating of the equipment is limited to the IP rating of the enclosure it is to be installed into.
