Functionality

Signal termination function: Provide reliable signal termination for the analogue input modules of AIN 300 series to ensure that the analogue signals can be accurately and stably transmitted to the modules, avoiding problems such as distortion, attenuation, or interference during the transmission process.

Electrical isolation protection: may have electrical isolation function, the input signal and the rest of the system for effective electrical isolation, to prevent external interference signal on the system, but also to avoid the internal signal on the external equipment to produce interference, improve the stability and reliability of the system, enhance the system's anti-jamming ability, so that it can be in the complex industrial electromagnetic environment for normal work.

Fault diagnosis and indication: Usually equipped with corresponding fault diagnosis function, it can monitor the status of input signals in real time, detect common faults such as short circuit, open circuit, signal out of range, etc. in time, and notify the user of the occurrence of the fault and its specific location through the intuitive display of the indicator lamps or by sending the fault code to the control system, which is convenient for the user to locate and solve the problem quickly, and reduce the downtime of the system.

Physical characteristics

Interface Type and Layout: Specific interfaces are designed to fit the AIN 300 series analogue input modules. The interface type is generally screw terminal interface or pin interface, screw terminal interface is convenient for users to use screwdrivers and other tools to connect and fix the wires, the connection is firm and reliable; pin interface is more suitable for plug-in connection, easy to plug and unplug, and convenient for rapid installation and removal of the module. The layout of the interface is reasonable, taking into account the convenience of wiring and the stability of signal transmission, usually arranged in accordance with certain rules to facilitate the user to carry out wiring operations and reduce the mutual interference between the signals.

Mechanical structure and installation: the use of durable mechanical structure design, the shell is generally made of metal or high-strength engineering plastics, with good impact resistance and shock resistance, to adapt to the harsh working environment of the industrial site. In the installation mode, support for rail mounting or screw-fixed installation, rail mounting is convenient for users to quickly mounted to the standard DIN rail, saving installation time and space; screw-fixed installation is more solid and reliable, suitable for the installation of higher stability requirements of the occasion.

Dimension and space occupation: Its compact external dimension design can achieve efficient layout in limited space, and will not occupy too much space in the control cabinet or equipment rack, which is easy to integrate and install with other equipment and modules, and improve the overall space utilisation of the system.
