The THQL1120GFT by General Electric is a 20 Amp Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) breaker from the Q-Line family, designed for enhanced electrical safety in residential and commercial settings. Operating at 120 volts, this single-pole breaker provides reliable protection against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. The THQL1120GFT features thermal magnetic protection, combining long-time (LI) and instantaneous (LI) trip functions. This dual mechanism ensures comprehensive protection by addressing both sustained overload conditions and sudden short circuits. Additionally, the GFCI functionality offers enhanced safety by detecting and interrupting ground faults, reducing the risk of electric shock. With an interrupting capacity (AIC) of 10kA at 120V, the THQL1120GFT effectively handles high fault currents, preventing potential damage to the electrical system.
Its single-phase configuration makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including residential and light commercial installations. The breaker employs a plug-in connection type, facilitating easy and secure installation in compatible panel boards. This design simplifies the installation process and ensures reliable electrical connections. Overall, the General Electric THQL1120GFT GFCI circuit breaker is a critical component for enhancing the safety and reliability of electrical systems. Its combination of thermal magnetic and ground fault protection, along with ease of installation, makes it a dependable choice for safeguarding against electrical hazards.
