Core performance characteristics

High reliability relay output design

Adopting industrial grade power relays, the mechanical lifespan of the contacts exceeds 10 million times, and the electrical lifespan exceeds 100000 times. It can directly drive loads such as solenoid valves and small contactors. Each output has overload protection and short-circuit current limiting function. When the load current exceeds 1.5 times the rated value, the module will cut off the drive signal to avoid contact sintering or module damage.

Flexible system scalability

Support cascading expansion of multiple modules, up to 16 modules can be expanded through backplane bus or RS485 interface, achieving centralized management of 128 output channels. The module supports hot swapping function, and there is no need to interrupt system operation when replacing faults. With the automatic configuration function of ABB controller, the expansion process can be completed in just 5 minutes.

Strong anti-interference and environmental adaptability

Adopting optoelectronic isolation and electromagnetic shielding technology, it can resist electromagnetic interference generated by industrial field frequency converters and high-power motors, and comply with EMC 89/336/EEC standards. Internally selected wide temperature components, with an average fault free time of over 80000 hours in environments ranging from -10 ℃ to 55 ℃, suitable for high and low temperature industrial scenarios.

Visual Operations and Diagnosis

The front of the module is equipped with 8 output status LED indicator lights (red constant light indicates suction, off indicates release) and power and communication status indicator lights, which can intuitively judge the operating status. Support channel fault self diagnosis function. When the relay contact is stuck or disconnected, the fault code can be uploaded through the communication interface, and the operation and maintenance response efficiency can be improved by 50%.


Working principle

XO08R1-B4.0 achieves load control through the process of "instruction reception isolation driver status feedback":

Instruction reception stage: Receive output instructions from the upper controller through the backplane bus or RS485 interface, and achieve electrical isolation with the internal circuit through the photoelectric isolation circuit to avoid external interference from entering the control system;

Isolation driving stage: The core driving circuit controls the relay coil to turn on/off according to the command signal, causing the contacts to switch states and thus controlling the on/off of external loads;

State feedback stage: Built in contact state detection circuit, real-time collection of relay actual state, feedback signal is transmitted back to the upper controller, forming a closed-loop control link of "instruction execution confirmation".

Small production line control: Expand control of conveyor belt start stop, solenoid valve action, indicator light display and other actuators, achieve process automation through Modbus and PLC linkage;

Equipment interlocking protection: Receive safety relay signals, control emergency stop buttons, safety door interlocking devices, and form multiple safety protection links;

Building automation: adapted to intelligent building control systems, controlling lighting circuits, air conditioning fans, electric valves and other equipment to achieve energy-saving operation and maintenance;
