Basic Introduction

The ABB Electrical 1SVR405501R1010 is a pluggable interface relay. Supplied in packs of 10 pieces minimum, this relay performs a variety of functions such as signal conversion, isolation and control in electrical control systems.

Functional Features

Signal Conversion Function

As an interface relay, it is capable of efficient signal conversion. Control signals can be converted from one voltage level or signal type to another to suit the connection between different electrical devices. For example, in an automation system containing equipment of multiple voltage levels, it can convert signals from 24V DC control circuits to drive signals suitable for 110V AC load equipment, thus enabling co-operation between devices.

Electrical isolation function

Provides excellent electrical isolation. This is important in preventing electrical interference and protecting sensitive equipment. For example, in an industrial environment, when a device is subjected to electromagnetic interference or an electrical fault, the interface relay can isolate the interference or fault from other connected devices, ensuring the stability and safety of the entire electrical system.

Pluggable Design Advantages

Pluggable features offer great convenience. During installation and maintenance, the design allows for quick replacement of relays without the need for complex wiring operations. If a relay fails, simply pull it out and replace it with a new one, greatly reducing maintenance time and system downtime. For example, in a production line control system where uninterrupted operation is critical, when a relay fails, it can be replaced quickly so that production can return to normal as soon as possible.

Multi-Contact Configuration

Typically have multiple contacts, including normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts. These contacts can be flexibly configured to control different circuits according to actual control requirements. For example, a normally open contact can be used to activate a device, while a normally closed contact can be used to trigger an alarm circuit in the event of a device malfunction, enabling a variety of control and monitoring functions.

Technical Parameters

Response Time

Response time is an important performance indicator that refers to the time it takes from the time the relay receives an input signal to the time the output contact operates. A short response time is critical for control systems with high time requirements (e.g., high-speed automated production lines) to ensure fast response and precise control.

Insulation Performance

With good insulation performance, insulation resistance and withstand voltage and other parameters in line with the relevant standards. This ensures that the relays can work properly in harsh environments such as high voltage or humidity, and there will be no leakage and other safety hazards, ensuring the safety of the electrical system.

Industrial Automation
