Application Flexibility: M2004HW module is flexible in application and can form a variety of optical fibre networks to meet the needs of different industrial sites.
Logically independent dual-bus electrical interface: The module has a logically independent dual-bus electrical interface, which can achieve the backup of the electrical interface or a single device to access the dual-redundant bus system, improving the reliability and stability of the system.
Fibre optic network support:
When using a point-to-point network, it can achieve the network segment of two Profibus DP buses connected by optical fibre.
When adopting the dual optical port chain network, it can achieve the Profibus DP bus connection of multiple network segments (up to 200) on the optical fibre bus.
Self-healing protection function: The module adopts dual optical ports to realize dual-fiber ring network redundancy function, when a fibre optic failure, the system can rebuild the network link within 10ms to guarantee the normal communication of the system, and realize the self-healing protection function of signal transmission. The system will recover automatically after the network failure is eliminated.
Proprietary ring protocol: Adopting the proprietary ring protocol Ci-ring developed by the company itself, it does not need to set up the root node, and quickly completes the ring formation and un-ring function of the network, which is plug-and-play and does not need to be configured, thus simplifying the installation and debugging process of the users.
Performance specification
Data electrical interface: 9-pin Sub_D jack connector, pin definition in line with the protocol specification of Profibus DP.
Communication rate: supports a variety of communication rates, including 9.6kBit/s, 19.2kBit/s, 45.45kBit/s, 93.75kBit/s, 187.5kBit/s, 500kBit/s, 1.5MBit/s, 6MBit/s and 12MBit/s. The rate setting can be set by auto-recognition or by dip switch.
Signal delay: electric port signal delay ≤ 11Bit, optical port signal delay ≤ 1.6us/node.
Lightning strike and overcurrent protection: 4000V lightning strike protection, 1.5A overcurrent protection and 600W surge protection.
Optical fibre wavelength and type: support multi-mode 850nm, 1310nm and single-mode 1310nm, 1550nm optical fibre wavelength. Transmission fibres include multi-mode 50/125um, 62.5/125um, 100/140um and single-mode 8.3/125um, 9/125um, 10/125um.
Transmission distance: multi-mode fibre up to 2Km, single-mode fibre up to 20Km, longer distance optional.
Fibre interface type: SC, FC, ST optional, standard SC optical interface.
