Overview

Application: It serves as the core of the controller, responsible for executing control logic, data processing, and human-machine interaction functions. It is widely used in the field of industrial automation to provide real-time control for various machines, processes, and material handling systems.

Manufacturer: Designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc in the GE RX7i PACSystem product line.

Main Features

Processor: Equipped with a high-speed 1.8GHz (or 1800MHz) Pentium-M microprocessor, with a scan rate of 0.024 milliseconds per 1000 Boolean contacts/coils, enabling quick response and processing of various instructions.

Memory: Both the random access memory (RAM) and non-volatile memory reach 64MB, which helps to quickly process and store large amounts of data.

Communication Interfaces:

It has embedded communication ports, including two serial communication ports supporting RS232 and RS485 communication standards.

It also has two RJ45 ports for Ethernet connectivity, supporting 10/100 Mbps half-duplex/full-duplex transmission rates with automatic sensing capabilities.

The serial port supports protocols such as Modbus RTU slave and SNP, enabling communication and collaboration with other devices.

The built-in Ethernet interface enables data exchange using Ethernet Global Data (EGD) and TCP/IP communication services using SRTP, supporting SRTP channels, Modbus/TCP servers, and Modbus/TCP clients.

Redundancy: Supports hot standby (HSB) redundancy configuration to improve system reliability and fault tolerance. This requires redundant CPUs and memory modules.

Programming and Configuration: Supports multiple programming languages such as ladder diagrams, C, structured text, and function block diagrams. It can be configured using Proficy Machine Edition application software or Logic Developer programming software.

Input Voltage Range: AC100 to 220V, allowing voltage fluctuations of ±10% to -15%, while supporting 50/60Hz power frequency.
