Performance characteristics
High speed bus collaboration: Based on the PROFINET IO slave protocol design, it supports real-time communication with IRT at a bus transmission rate of 100Mbps, with a bus cycle as low as 1ms, ensuring synchronous control accuracy between 16 output channels and the main controller, and adapting to the collaborative requirements of high-speed production lines.
High density flexible output: The 16 independent output channels adopt a compact layout, and a single module can drive 16 small actuators, which increases the channel density by 30% compared to traditional modules; The software switching between source/drain modes does not require hardware jumpers and is suitable for the access requirements of actuators with different polarities.
Full channel status monitoring: Each output is equipped with an independent current detection and status feedback circuit, which can upload real-time channel on/off status, load current, and short-circuit fault information. The main controller can quickly locate the faulty channel through the bus, and the average fault troubleshooting time is shortened to less than 2 minutes.
Industrial grade reliability design: adopting optoelectronic isolation (2500V AC) and surge suppression circuit, which can resist electromagnetic interference and instantaneous overvoltage in industrial sites; The dual circuit power supply design ensures that the logic circuit and load drive operate independently, and the fluctuation of load power supply does not affect the stability of module communication.
Convenient configuration and expansion: Supports online configuration of output modes, fault thresholds, and address parameters through Automation Builder software, without the need for on-site debugging; 64 similar modules can be cascaded through PROFINET to achieve centralized control of 1024 digital output channels.
Working principle
This module operates based on the slave control logic of "bus instruction reception logic parsing driver output state feedback". The core process is as follows:
Bus communication stage: As a PROFINET IO slave station, it receives output control instructions (such as channel on/off signals) issued by the main controller (such as AC800M) through the bus interface, and after protocol parsing and verification, transmits them to the core processing unit.
Instruction parsing stage: The embedded MCU performs logical processing on control instructions, distinguishes the action requirements of 16 channels, generates corresponding drive signals based on preset output modes (source/drain), and activates the state monitoring circuit.
Load driving stage: The driving circuit converts the logic signal into a power signal and drives the contactor, solenoid valve, and other actuators to operate through the output terminal; Each channel is equipped with a built-in current limiting circuit, which automatically limits the current when the load current exceeds 2A to avoid overload damage.
State feedback stage: The current sensor and state detection circuit real-time collect the current value and on/off status of the output channel, and after digital processing, it is transmitted back to the main controller through the PROFINET bus, forming a closed-loop control link of "master slave actuator".
