Functional Features
Connection Function: As a gateway module connecting Symphony Plus SD series and HR series controllers with S800 I/O, it is able to connect the HN800 I/O bus to the existing S800 I/O module bus, realizing data transmission between different systems.
Scanning Capability: The core function is to scan S800 I/O modules and provide the information to the Symphony Plus controller through the HN800. Up to seven S800 cluster modems can be connected and scanned through the fiber optic module bus, and each cluster modem can support up to 12 S800 I/O modules.
Configuration Flexibility: Selectable redundant or non-redundant configurations, support for the S800 I/O subsystem's Sequence of Events functionality, and the ability to interface with many types of I/O in the S800 I/O subsystem, such as Basic AI/AO, Basic DI, SOE DI, Basic DO, Pulse Inputs, Temperature Device Inputs, Intrinsically Safe and Redundant I/O, and more.
Signal Processing Capability: Can handle inputs and outputs, analog and digital signal types, pulse counters, and event sequence data acquisition.
Communication Protocol Support: Supports a variety of communication protocols for flexible connectivity, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with different devices and systems.
Performance Parameters
Electrical Connection Distance: The distance between the IOR-810 and the Symphony Plus controller is up to 30 meters if connected via the electrical HN800 bus, or up to 3,000 meters if connected via the fiber optic HN800 bus using the RFO810 repeater.
Fiber Optic Module Bus Distance: The maximum fiber optic module bus distance between the IOR-810 and the S800 trunk modem or between two trunk modems in a daisy chain is 15 meters if using plastic fiber optic cable, 200 meters if using HCS fiber optic cable, and 1000 meters if using TB825 optical media converter and glass fiber cable.

The transfer sequence of OTM_C21D can be summarized in following steps:
• An anomaly occurs on the Line 1 (LN1)
• Generator start, immediately start generator in case of black-out, phase-loss, overvoltage or undervoltage (If Generator mode is selected)
• The Line 2 start the normal functioning, transfer delay Ts
• Change-over switch (Switch I) to the position 0
• Change-over switch (Switch II) to the position II
And the return sequence can be summarized in the following steps:
• The Line 1 will start the normal functioning
• Change-over switch stays in position II
• An anomaly occurs on the Line 2 (LN2)
• Change-over switch stays in position II
• Change-over switch can be transferred manually back to position I
