Part Number IS200SPIDG1A Manufacturer General Electric Country of Manufacture As Per GE Manufacturing Policy Series Mark VI Function Module Availability In StockIS200SPIDG1A is a PROFIBUS Master Gateway Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in Distributed Control Systems. The I/O pack is mounted on the PROFIBUS Master Gateway Terminal board (SPIDG1A), which also provides an electronic ID. As the PROFIBUS connection is established to the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector that is exposed on the side of the I/O pack, that connection's only interface is with the I/O pack itself. Indicator LEDs on the I/O pack enable visual diagnostics. IS200SPIDG1A Installation Mount the SPID terminal board firmly. 

Directly connect the PPRF to the connector on the terminal board. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for hot-backup configurations with a second SPID and PPRF. Using the threaded inserts next to the Ethernet ports, mechanically secure the packs. The inserts attach to a mounting bracket made especially for the type of terminal board. In order to prevent the DC-37 pin connector between the terminal board and the pack from being forced at an angle, the bracket needs to be changed. 

Once during the course of the product's life will this change be necessary? Depending on the setup of the machine, connect either one or two Ethernet wires. The pack can use either port to function. The R controller's network should be connected to ENET1 if dual connections are needed, however, the PPRF is not Ethernet connection-sensitive and will negotiate good operation via either port. The PROFIBUS cable should be plugged in and secured to the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connection. 

The PROFIBUS must be terminated on both ends in accordance with PROFIBUS specifications. Connect the connector on the pack's side with power. The connector does not need to be inserted with the cable's power disconnected. The PPRF features a built-in soft-start feature that limits current inrush when power is applied. To set up the I/O pack and PROFIBUS as necessary, use the ToolboxST program. Operation A fast CPU with flash memory and RAM. Two connectorized, totally independent 10/100 Ethernet ports.
