It is a part of Mark VI series. It provides essential power to the VME control and interface racks, ensuring seamless operation and functionality. The operates with a 24VDC input voltage and delivers a power output rating of 300W. Featuring three +28V PSA outputs, it enables efficient power distribution to multiple devices within the VME rack. 

Equipped with a Status ID output, it provides essential status information for effective monitoring and troubleshooting. With its ability to handle redundant operations, it minimizes downtime and enhances system reliability, making it well-suited for industrial environments. Key Features Interface and Mounting: Mounted on the right side of the VME control racks, this power supply features PSA and PSB connectors on the top edge, facilitating easy connection with a cable harness to carry power to the VME rack. 

With a power rating of 300W, it offers three +28V PSA outputs and supports redundant operations. Compact and Self-Contained Design: The module boasts a self-contained design, featuring a faceplate that screws shut at multiple points and can be conveniently opened at various panels. Labeled Power Supply, it includes a waffled opening for air movement, LED indicators (green, red, and yellow), and a toggle switch for user control. Heat Dissipation: The left side of the unit comprises exposed metal fins, serving as a large heat sink component to effectively dissipate heat generated during operation, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. 

Input and Output Connections: The bottom panel of the unit houses four input jacks labeled PSSAT, PS28, PS335, and PS125 or PS24, providing convenient access for dc input, 28V dc output, and 335V dc output connections. Characteristics Voltage Protection: The power supply features under-voltage and over-voltage protection mechanisms to prevent operation outside the specified voltage range, ensuring safe and reliable performance. Isolation: It offers true isolation from input to output, providing a high level of safety and reliability in operation with a rating of 1500V. Installation and Operation Mounting: Installed on a sheet metal bracket on the right side of the VME rack, the power supply's connections are located at the bottom for easy access. 

The PSA and PSB connectors at the top interface with a cable harness to supply power to the VME rack. User Controls: The power switch and three status LED indicators on the front panel are the primary user controls. The power switch toggles output voltages and acts as a fault reset, while the LEDs indicate input power status, fault presence, and normal operation. Fault Detection and Protection: The power supply features fault detection mechanisms for overcurrent conditions and under-voltage situations, ensuring safe operation and protecting connected devices from damage. Special Cases: In specific scenarios such as the 5V output current limit, special considerations are made to ensure continuous operation and system integrity, with fault detection mechanisms in place to address potential issues promptly.
