For the control and management of industrial turbine systems, GE developed and published this system. The IS420ESWAH2A is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that is optimized for real-time industrial control systems. 802.3/802.3u/802.3x compatibility, half and full-duplex auto-negotiation, HP-MDIX auto-sensing, and 10/100 base copper are all included in the switch.
Multiple LEDs on the unit also indicate when links are active when the unit is turned on, and the speed of each port. This unit contains eight 10/100BASE-TX ports as well as two 100BASE-FX, LC-type connectors. The IS420ESWAH2A is generally mounted on DIN-rails in control system panels. Only particular DIN-rail clips are compatible with GE's ESWA ethernet switches. Depending on the mounting position required, two alternative clips are available for use with this switch. Use clip number 259B2451BVP1 if you need to place the switch parallel to the rail. Use clip 259B2451BVP2 if you need to place the switch perpendicular to the rail.
