Physical Characteristics

Dimensions: The overall dimensions are compact and easy to install in the control cabinet, the common dimensions are about 150mm in length, 80mm in width and 30mm in height (the specific dimensions may vary slightly depending on the product model), which will not occupy too much space in the control cabinet and is convenient to be used in conjunction with other modules.

ABB NHSS01 Hydraulic Servo Module is a key module specialized in hydraulic system control. It plays an important role in the field of industrial automation, especially in control systems involving hydraulically driven equipment, and mainly realizes precise control of hydraulic actuators.

Functional features

Precise hydraulic control function

The module can precisely control the pressure, flow and direction in the hydraulic system. Through advanced control algorithms and high-precision electronic components, it can accurately regulate the flow and pressure of hydraulic oil according to the system demand, so as to accurately control the movement speed, force and direction of the hydraulic actuators (e.g. hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors).

For example, in the control of the working arm of heavy machinery, the NHSS01 module can precisely control the flow of hydraulic oil, so that the working arm can move according to the predetermined speed and trajectory, whether it is a slow and delicate operation or a fast and heavy-duty action, all of which can be precisely controlled.

Signal Conversion and Processing

It can receive a variety of signals (such as digital or analog signals) from the control system and convert them into control signals suitable for hydraulic servo systems. At the same time, it can also process the feedback signals in the hydraulic system (e.g., signals from pressure sensors and position sensors), and convert these analog signals into digital signals to be fed back to the control system to achieve closed-loop control.

In the hydraulic feed system of an automated machine tool, the digital control signals from the control system are converted by the NHSS01 module and used to accurately control the feed speed of the hydraulic system-driven table, while the feedback signals from the table's position sensors are converted and sent back to the control system through the module to ensure the accuracy of the table's position.
