Length: its standard length is 24 feet, in the actual application can also be customised according to the specific installation distance and needs.

Diameter: Generally between a few millimetres and a dozen millimetres, depending on factors such as the number of cores inside the cable, the thickness of the insulation and the structure of the shield.

Plug and socket specifications: Plugs and sockets are of a specialised design matched to specific ABB I/O modules and terminal units, ensuring robust connections and reliable signal transmission.

Environmental parameters:

Operating temperature range: Typically capable of normal operation over a wide range of temperatures, typically around - 20°C to + 70°C, with some special models available for more extreme temperatures.

Humidity range: the relative humidity range is generally 5% to 95% (non-condensing), can be stable in the humid industrial environment.

Protection level: With a certain protection level, such as IP40 or higher, it can prevent solid objects with a diameter of more than 1mm from entering, and is waterproof and dustproof to a certain extent, protecting the internal core and signal transmission from the influence of the external environment.

Functionality

Signal transmission function: It can transmit various types of signals, including digital and analogue signals. In the transmission process, shielding design is adopted to reduce the impact of electromagnetic interference on the signals and ensure the accuracy and stability of the signals, which can reliably transmit the signals even in the complex industrial electromagnetic environment.

Connection compatibility: The cable's plugs and sockets are designed to match perfectly with ABB's I/O modules and terminal unit interfaces, ensuring a tight and reliable connection. At the same time, it supports system expansion and updating, and can be easily reconfigured and reconnected when I/O modules or terminal units need to be added or replaced.
