Basic Structure and Installation

Functional characteristics
Signal acquisition and conversion: the main function is to acquire input signals from various sensors, switches and other devices on site, such as digital signals, switch signals, etc., and convert these signals into standard signal levels that can be recognised and processed by the control system, to ensure the accurate transmission and processing of signals.
Signal isolation: It has good signal isolation function, and generally adopts photoelectric isolation or electromagnetic isolation technology to effectively isolate the field signals on the input side from the internal circuits of the control system, preventing the electrical interference and noise on the field from affecting the control system, and also avoiding the damage to the field equipment caused by the failure of the control system internally to improve the stability and reliability of the system.

Status Indication: Usually equipped with input status indicator, it can intuitively display the signal status of each input channel, such as whether the signal is valid or not, whether there is a fault, etc., which is convenient for on-site maintenance personnel to quickly understand the operation of the equipment, and discover and deal with the problems in a timely manner.
