Features

Strong signal processing capability: it can receive and process many types of analogue input signals, such as voltage signals, current signals, etc. It can accurately convert the analogue signals on site into digital signals for processing and analysis by the control system.

High reliability: it has good stability and reliability, adopts high-quality electronic components and advanced manufacturing process, which can operate stably for a long time in the harsh industrial environment and reduce the production interruption caused by equipment failure.

Easy to install: compact structure, small size, light weight, easy to install and wiring in the control cabinet, usually using standard installation methods, such as rail mounting or screw fixing, etc., can save installation space and time.

Good compatibility: good compatibility with other modules in the ABB Bailey Infi 90 and Net 90 systems, can be seamlessly integrated into the control system to achieve flexible system configuration and expansion.

Technical Parameters

Input signal type: support a variety of common analogue signal types, such as 0-10V, ±10V voltage signal and 4-20mA current signal.

Number of Input Channels: Generally there are multiple input channels, which can be connected to multiple analogue sensors at the same time to meet the measurement needs of different industrial sites.

Accuracy: It has high signal acquisition accuracy, usually between ±0.1% and ±0.3%, which ensures high accuracy of the analogue signals acquired.

Power supply voltage: generally 24V DC power supply, the working current is relatively small, with low power consumption.

Operating temperature range: usually between 0°C and 60°C, some models can work in a wider temperature range, able to adapt to the temperature changes of different industrial environments.

Application Scenarios

Chemical industry: In the process of chemical production, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors and so on can be connected to real-time collection of parameters such as temperature of reaction kettle, pressure and flow rate of pipeline, which provides accurate data support for the automation control of chemical production and ensures the safe and stable operation of the production process.

Power industry: in power plants and substations, it is used to collect parameters such as voltage, current and temperature of generators, as well as signals such as oil temperature and winding temperature of transformers, so as to realise real-time monitoring and protection of power equipments, and to improve the reliability and safety of power systems.

Pharmaceutical industry: In the process of drug production, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, pressure sensors can be connected to accurately control the temperature, humidity and pressure and other parameters of the production environment to ensure the stability and consistency of the quality of drugs.

Metallurgical industry: In the metallurgical production process, it can be used to collect the temperature of the heating furnace, the pressure of the rolling mill and other parameters, so as to achieve the precise control and optimisation of the production process, and to improve the quality of products and production efficiency.

Electrical interfaces

The electrical interfaces for the output of measured values and  communication with external systems include  

• The integrated Ethernet-10/100BASE-T interface for  

– gas analyzer configuration with configuration software ECT  

– QAL3 data transfer if the QAL3 monitoring option is integrated in the gas analyzer  

– data transmission with Modbus TCP/IP protocol (measured  values, status signals and control signals)  as well as the integrated I/O modules depending on the functional  range and order  

· Profibus module with one RS485 and one MBP interface (also  according to VDI 4201 Part 2),  

· Modbus module with one RS485 and one RS232 interface (also  according to VDI 4201 Part 3),  

· Digital I/O module with four digital inputs and four digital outputs,  

· 2-way analog output module with two analog outputs,  

· 4-way analog output module with four analog outputs.
