Features

Accurate signal processing: it can accurately terminate and process analogue output signals such as 4-20mA, ensure the accuracy and stability of signal transmission, effectively prevent signal distortion, and provide reliable analogue signal output for industrial control system.

Strong anti-interference ability: adopting advanced circuit design and shielding technology, it has good anti-electromagnetic interference ability, and can work stably in the complex industrial electromagnetic environment, reduce the impact of external interference on the analogue signals, and ensure the normal operation of the system.

Compact design: its compact structure and small size make it easy to be installed and wired in limited space such as control cabinets, saving installation space and improving the integration degree of the system.

Technical Parameters

Operating voltage: Normally 24V DC, providing stable power support for the normal operation of the module.

Ambient temperature range: generally between - 40 ° F to 185 ° F, can be in a wider temperature range of normal operation, to adapt to a variety of industrial site ambient temperature changes.

Ambient Humidity: Reliable operation at 95% non-condensing humidity for humid industrial environments.

External dimensions: Approx. 114 mm × 257 mm × 80 mm, compact size for easy installation in various control cabinets.

Application Scenarios

Industrial automation control system: In the automated production line of chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, electric power and other industries, it is used to accurately transmit the analogue signals output from the control system to various actuators, such as regulating valves, inverters, motor drives, etc., to achieve precise control of flow, temperature, pressure, speed and other parameters in the production process.

Process control system: in petrochemical, water treatment, paper making and other process industries, as an analogue output terminal unit, the controller's control signals are converted into analogue signals and output to the field instrumentation and equipment, such as flowmeter, level meter, pH meter, etc., to ensure the stable operation of the production process and the control of product quality.

Intelligent building control system: In the air-conditioning, ventilation, lighting and other systems of the building, the analogue control signals of the control system are transmitted to the corresponding equipment to achieve intelligent control of the environmental parameters and the operating state of the equipment in the building, and to improve the building's energy efficiency and comfort.

Service and Maintenance

• Only qualified personnel should carry out repairs. 

• The agreed warranty applies. 

• Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations, disconnect the equipment from the electrical supply. 

• Clean the display and surrounding front cover with a soft cloth and mild detergent. 

• Replacing the battery incorrectly may result in explosion. Only use batteries recommended by the supplier. During the warranty period, the battery needs to be replaced by an authorized ABB service center

• Connections between bay units and central  unit by fiber-optic cables 

- maximum permissible length 1200 m  

- for distributed and centralized layout 

• fiber-optic connections mean interference proof data transfer even close to HV power  cables 

• Replacement of existing busbar protection  schemes can be accomplished without restrictions (centralized layout) in the case of  substation extensions e.g. by a mixture of  centralized and distributed layout
