DESCRIPTION
Woodward's 9907-1183 Human-Machine Interface can be outfitted with a NEMA 4X grade protective casing. While the casing is optional, it is recommended as it is able to protect the electromechanical components effectively from any permanent damage. The case is watertight, dust-tight, and suitable for harsh outdoor conditions.The 9907-1183 model is equipped with a 32-bit microcontroller that allows the control of a wide variety of turbines, such as industrial-sized standard steam turbines, utility turbogenerators, and turboexpander models.

Digital Input Module:
DIGITAL INPUT FUNCTION: The Woodward 9907-1183 module may be used to receive digital signal inputs, enabling monitoring and detection of digital signals sent from external devices or sensors.
Multi-Channel Design: The module may have multiple digital input channels, allowing simultaneous monitoring of digital signals sent from multiple devices or sensors for comprehensive monitoring coverage.
High-speed acquisition: with high-speed acquisition capability, it can acquire digital signals sent by external devices in real time to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the data.

In some cases, Woodward 9907-1183 may also be used as a turbine digital governor or overspeed protector for controlling and managing turbine speed, ensuring stable generator output frequency and voltage, and maintaining stable operation of the power grid.
