-Environmental adaptability: Operating temperature range of 0~50 ℃, relative humidity of 45%~85% RH, suitable for indoor installation; Installation altitude not exceeding 2000m, in compliance with IEC 61010-1 standard, pollution level 2, overvoltage category II;

-Physics and Installation: Adopting slot installation, compatible with FA-M3 series basic module rack; The terminal spacing is 5.0mm. It is recommended to use a straight screwdriver with a size of 0.6 × 3.5 and a length greater than 130mm for wiring;

Working principle

The core working principle of YOKOGAWA F3NC02-0N positioning module is to receive control instructions from the CPU module, output precise pulse signals to drive external actuators (servo/stepper motors) to complete positioning motion, and achieve closed-loop control through feedback signals. The module first establishes communication with the FA-M3 series basic module and CPU module through slot type connection, receiving motion control instructions (such as target position, motion speed, control mode, etc.) and configuration parameters (such as pulse mode, interpolation axis number, protection threshold, etc.) issued by the CPU.

The filtered AC voltage enters the rectifier circuit and is converted into a pulsating DC voltage; Subsequently, the input power factor is optimized through a power factor correction circuit to improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce harmonic pollution to the power grid. The pulsating DC voltage is then transformed and isolated through high-frequency switching circuits and transformers, converting it into low voltage pulsating DC; Finally, the output filtering circuit (capacitor, inductor filtering) is used to further smooth the voltage and output a stable DC 24V DC voltage to supply the CPU module, I/O module, and other loads in the backend. At the same time, the built-in detection circuit of the module monitors the output voltage, current, and module temperature in real time. When abnormalities such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, or short circuit are detected, the corresponding protection mechanism is immediately triggered to cut off the output or limit the current, ensuring the safety of the module and load.

In addition, the module has the ability to adapt to a wide range of input voltages. Through internal voltage detection and regulation circuits, it can automatically adjust working parameters within the fluctuation range of AC 100~240V voltage, ensuring the stability of output voltage. After troubleshooting (excluding short circuit faults), some protection functions can be automatically restored, allowing the module to resume normal power supply and improving the continuity of system operation.
