General Information2

The IC3600QSPA103A103A is a printed circuit board (PCB) produced by General Electric. It is mainly used in the Mark I - II systems which are responsible for managing the processes of gas turbines. These systems were the first two generations in the Mark series.

Hardware Composition2

Relays: There are four large relays on the board, taking up most of the space on its surface. Made of gold-colored metal with grey parts at both ends, they are rectangular. Each relay is labeled with "CR120G40B06FC" and "68A9997277C03" and has a DC voltage of 28V (28VDC).

Wiring and Connectors: The four relays are connected to a series of metal prongs on the right edge of the board by multicolored wires, which are green, red, pink and orange. These metal prongs are used to connect the IC3600QSPA103A103A to other components in the Mark system.

Resistors: There are 17 grey resistors at the top left of the board. They are solid in color and stand upright on the board's surface, each identifiable by the designator "R".

Function and Application

Servo Control: As a servo potentiometer board, it plays a key role in the servo control system of the Mark I - II series. It can precisely adjust and control the position, speed and torque of the servo motor by changing the resistance value, so as to ensure the accurate operation of the gas turbine control system.

Signal Conditioning: It is responsible for receiving and processing various signals related to servo control, such as position feedback signals and speed command signals. It conditions these signals to make them meet the requirements of the control system and improve the stability and accuracy of the control.

System Monitoring and Protection: The board continuously monitors the operating status of the servo system. When an abnormal situation occurs, such as overcurrent, overvoltage or excessive temperature, it can send out an alarm signal in time and take corresponding protection measures to prevent damage to the equipment and ensure the safe operation of the gas turbine.
