GE IS200EXHSG3REC high-speed synchronous input module

Product Overview

GE IS200EXHSG3REC is a high-performance high-speed synchronous input module in the General Electric (GE) Speedtronic Mark VIe control system family, designed specifically for synchronous acquisition and processing of high-frequency and high-precision signals in industrial scenarios. This module can accurately capture key synchronization signals such as speed and phase of high-speed rotating machinery (such as gas turbines, steam turbines, generators), and quickly transmit them to the core unit of the control system, providing real-time and reliable data support for equipment speed regulation, phase synchronization control, and fault diagnosis.

As the core input component of the Mark VIe control system, the IS200EXHSG3REC relies on GE's advanced signal processing technology to achieve ultra-high sampling rates, strong anti-interference capabilities, and stable synchronization performance. It can accurately capture microsecond level signals in complex industrial environments (such as strong electromagnetic interference and high-frequency vibration conditions), effectively solving the problems of signal delay and distortion that traditional input modules encounter during high-speed signal acquisition. It is a key technical equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of large power equipment.

Core functions and roles

1. Synchronous acquisition of high-speed signals

The core function of this module is to achieve synchronous acquisition of high-speed pulse signals and frequency signals, with a sampling rate of up to 1MHz. It can accurately capture the speed signals of rotating machinery (such as gear speed measurement signals, photoelectric encoder signals) and phase synchronization signals. The high-speed signal processing chip integrated internally can perform real-time filtering and shaping on the collected raw signals, eliminate interference noise, and ensure the authenticity and accuracy of signal data.

2. Signal synchronization and timestamp marking

For multi-channel signal acquisition scenarios, IS200EXHSG3REC has excellent inter channel synchronization performance, with an inter channel synchronization error of ≤ 10ns, and can achieve synchronous capture of multi-source high-speed signals. At the same time, the module will add precise timestamps to each set of collected signal data, with timestamp accuracy up to microseconds, providing important basis for the control system to analyze the signal timing relationship and locate the time of fault occurrence.

3. Real time data transmission and interaction

The module interacts with the controller through the high-speed backplane bus of the Mark VIe control system, with a data transmission rate of up to 1Gbps. It can transmit the collected high-speed signal data to the controller in real time, ensuring that the control system can timely obtain equipment operation status information and quickly respond to control requirements. At the same time, the module supports receiving configuration instructions issued by the controller, and can flexibly adjust parameters such as sampling rate and signal threshold.

4. Fault detection and alarm

The module is equipped with a comprehensive fault detection mechanism, which can monitor its own operating status in real time (such as power supply voltage, chip temperature) and input signal quality (such as signal loss, abnormal signal amplitude). When an abnormal situation is detected, an alarm signal will be immediately triggered and the fault information (including timestamp) will be uploaded to the control system, making it easier for operation and maintenance personnel to quickly locate the cause of the fault and shorten equipment downtime.

5. System compatibility and expansion

As a standard module of the Mark VIe control system, IS200EXHSG3REC has perfect compatibility with components such as controllers, output modules, and human-machine interaction units within the system, and can be quickly integrated without the need for additional development of adaptation programs. The module supports hot swapping function, which can be installed and replaced without shutting down the system, greatly improving the maintainability and scalability of the system.
