ABB KTO 011 KTO011 Compact DIN Rail Thermostat

Product Overview

ABB KTO 011 (abbreviated as KTO011) is a compact DIN rail thermostat designed specifically for temperature control of industrial and civilian equipment. With its compact structure, stable performance, and convenient installation method, it is widely used in electrical control cabinets, distribution boxes, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and other scenarios to achieve precise monitoring and automatic adjustment of environmental temperature, ensuring stable operation of equipment within a suitable temperature range, effectively extending equipment service life, and reducing energy consumption.

This product continues ABB's high-quality standards in the field of electrical control, using reliable temperature sensing components and precise control logic to quickly respond to temperature changes. At the same time, the DIN rail installation design meets the standardized installation requirements of industrial sites, greatly improving construction efficiency and space utilization.

Core Features

1. Compact structure, saving installation space

KTO011 adopts a highly integrated design scheme, with a compact body size that perfectly adapts to standard DIN rails (compliant with EN 60715 standard). It can be installed side by side with other rail type electrical components (such as circuit breakers, relays, etc.) and can be easily arranged in small control cabinets, effectively optimizing the internal space layout of the cabinet and reducing equipment integration costs.

2. Precise temperature control, fast response

Built in high-sensitivity temperature sensor, capable of real-time and accurate collection of environmental temperature, with a temperature measurement accuracy of ± 1 ℃ (specific temperature range), ensuring the accuracy of temperature monitoring. At the same time, the product has a fast temperature response capability. When the ambient temperature exceeds the set threshold, it can immediately trigger the switch action to achieve timely control of heating or cooling equipment, avoiding excessive temperature fluctuations that may affect the equipment.

3. Flexible temperature setting and wide range coverage

Support wide range temperature regulation, with a standard range covering -20 ℃ to+60 ℃ (specific range can be adjusted according to the model), to meet the temperature control needs in different scenarios. The temperature setting is easy to operate and can be completed through the product's built-in adjustment knob or dip switch, without the need for complex programming or debugging. On site personnel can quickly get started.

4. High reliability and durability

Adopting industrial grade components and reinforced casing design, it has good anti-interference ability and environmental adaptability, and can work stably in industrial environments with humidity ≤ 95% (no condensation) and no corrosive gases. The product has undergone rigorous aging testing and reliability verification, with a switch life of over 100000 times, ensuring long-term stable operation and reducing maintenance costs.

5. Convenient wiring and status indication

Using screw fastening terminal blocks, the wiring is firm and reliable, supporting wire connections of 1.5mm ² -2.5mm ², and easy to install and remove. At the same time, the product is equipped with clear LED status indicator lights, which can intuitively display the working status of the thermostat (such as power on/off, output action, etc.), making it easy for on-site personnel to quickly troubleshoot and conduct daily inspections.

Applicable scenarios

-Electrical control cabinet temperature control: used to control the temperature inside PLC control cabinets, frequency conversion cabinets and other equipment, to avoid component aging, performance degradation or failure caused by high temperature.

-HVAC system: In conjunction with fans, heaters and other equipment, it achieves automatic adjustment of indoor or pipeline air temperature, suitable for office buildings, workshops and other places.

-Mechanical equipment temperature control: used for local temperature control of equipment such as machine tools, printing machines, packaging machinery, etc., to ensure that key components of the equipment work at appropriate temperatures.

-Storage and cold chain: In small storage rooms and cold chain transportation equipment, monitor the ambient temperature and control heating or cooling equipment to ensure the quality of item storage.

-In the civilian field, it is suitable for heating control and temperature regulation of small water heaters in smart homes.

Installation and usage precautions

1. Installation points

-Before installation, it is necessary to confirm that the power supply voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the product to avoid equipment damage caused by voltage mismatch.

-Install the thermostat on a 35mm standard DIN rail, avoiding direct sunlight, strong magnetic field interference, and areas with severe vibration, to ensure that the temperature sensor can accurately capture the ambient temperature.

-When wiring, it is necessary to follow the product wiring diagram to ensure that the wiring is firm and avoid false connections that may cause poor contact or heating.

-After installation, it is necessary to reserve a certain amount of heat dissipation space to avoid close installation with other heating elements.

2. Precautions for use

-When setting the temperature, it should be adjusted according to the actual control requirements to avoid energy waste or equipment failure caused by setting the value too high or too low.

-In daily use, it is necessary to regularly check whether the wiring terminals are loose and whether the LED indicator lights are normal to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition.

-If the equipment malfunctions, the power should be disconnected before troubleshooting. It is prohibited to disassemble or repair it while it is live.

-The product should be avoided from use in environments with corrosive gases, high dust concentrations, or flammable and explosive materials to avoid affecting its service life or causing safety accidents.
