Hardware Specifications and Electrical Characteristics

Interface type: 10BaseT (twisted pair) interface, which is widely used in industrial environments, 

has good anti-interference ability and high transmission stability.

It is conveniently connected through RJ-45 connector, and can be easily connected with various devices supporting Ethernet interface, such as controllers, 

switches, servers, etc., to ensure the reliable transmission of data in the industrial network.

Data transmission rate: Support 10Mbps data transmission rate, although it is not high compared to some of today's high-speed Ethernet standard rate, 

but in industrial automation scenarios, for a large number of real-time requirements are not very high for equipment data acquisition and command transmission,

 this rate can meet the demand, and in the complex electromagnetic environment, 

lower transmission rate helps to improve the anti-interference and stability of data transmission.

Power supply requirements: the usual operating voltage of 24V DC, 

the power input range generally have a certain tolerance to adapt to the industrial site may exist in the case of voltage fluctuations. 

Power consumption is relatively low, such as about 2.8W, in order to ensure high-performance communication at the same time, 

effectively reduce energy consumption, in line with the development trend of industrial energy saving,

TCP/IP protocol: It fully supports TCP/IP protocol cluster, which is the basic protocol of modern network communication.

the module can establish a stable data connection with them, realize reliable data transmission and interaction, 

and ensure the seamless integration of industrial automation system and enterprise informatization system.

UDP protocol: UDP protocol is also supported. UDP is characterized by fast transmission speed and low overhead, 

which is suitable for application scenarios that require high real-time performance but relatively low data accuracy, 

such as real-time status monitoring data transmission in industrial sites. 

For example, the sensor will send the real-time running status data of the equipment to the monitoring system through UDP protocol quickly, 

even if a small number of packets are lost, it will not affect the overall real-time judgment of the running status of the equipment.

Modbus TCP: Support for the Modbus TCP protocol gives the EI803F module an extra boost in the industrial automation field; 

Modbus is a widely used communication protocol in the industrial field, and Modbus TCP is an Ethernet-based variant of the Modbus protocol. 

With this protocol, the EI803F module can easily communicate with a large number of field devices that support Modbus TCP, such as smart meters, 

PLCs (programmable logic controllers), inverters, etc., to realize remote monitoring and control of these devices, 

easily obtain the operating parameters and status information of the devices, and issue control commands, 

which greatly improves the integration and scalability of industrial automation systems.
