He said that the team "pattern is large", from the beginning, the mentor guided everyone to keep an eye on the frontier, cultivate international consciousness and first-class consciousness, and each member was promptly sent to advanced universities at home and abroad for further study. Whenever we carry out a subject research, the tutor will say "failure is mine, success is everyone's" so that we can emancipate our minds and explore boldly, so we grow faster and achieve more results. Professor Zeng Lintao is a high-level talent newly introduced from Tianjin University of Technology in 2020. He said: "Team spirit" is one of the important factors that attracted me to this team. At that time, there was another good university to extend an olive branch to me, but I chose Guangxi University without hesitation. Before I came to work in the team, the team sent someone to ask for my opinions and suggestions on research, which made me feel the sincerity and importance of the team. Moreover, the teachers are dedicated to their work and cooperate with each other to solve scientific research problems together. No matter which teacher or student encounters scientific research difficulties, any member of the team will voluntarily help solve them. Here everyone is conscious of responsibility, no one cares about personal gains and losses, no matter how tired can not hear who complains, the various laboratories are brightly lit before 12 o 'clock in the night. Zhang Jian said that I followed my supervisor to participate in major scientific research projects as soon as I was a graduate student, and my supervisor never blamed me for making mistakes, but patiently guided me. Moreover, the tutor attached great importance to each of our students. For a student's paper, the tutor led the team to repeatedly and carefully discuss and revise it, and often worked late into the night. I felt warm and energetic in this team. Teacher Liang Chen joked that our team is committed to the "ecological" environment, and the team itself is also very "ecological". In addition to work, we also set up a badminton team to play once a week, and usually exercise by ourselves in twos and threes. After work, we often "about walking" and "about chatting", the atmosphere is particularly good, and everyone is very happy in this team.

In recent years, the team has continued to grow, from the initial few young teachers to now has more than 40 industry research elites and more than 1,000 professional backbones in related fields, aspiring young people. At the same time, it has brought together a group of highly educated technical leaders with overseas study background to form a high-quality technical innovation team. At present, the team has 43 fixed scientific research members, including 76.5% party members, 13 people have senior titles, and 95.3% have doctoral degrees. The team has also undertaken the first small industrialization project of tens of thousands of yuan for the wastewater treatment of Guangxi Nandang Paper industry to undertake national key research topics of tens of millions of yuan today. At present, 65 research projects are under research, including 15 national projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, 32 provincial and ministerial projects, and 18 horizontal and other projects within the plan.

In addition, the team relies on the Bosch branch of the Graduate School of Guangxi University, complementing each other's advantages, using the enterprise's technology center and engineering experiment platform to carry out relevant research topics under the guidance of enterprise technicians, and cultivate application-oriented talents in the industry.

No matter how difficult it is, no matter how it develops, the team spirit of harboring home and country, sharing weal and woe, tenacious tackling and advancing together in the past 20 years has always remained unchanged, and has always been a high flag of the team's journey forward, constantly inspiring the team to forge ahead on the road of scientific research in the new era.

Upholding the responsibility all the way, riding the east wind of the vigorous development of national ecological civilization construction, infiltrating the good team ecology, the team's scientific research achievements continue to achieve new breakthroughs, and the team continues to thrive as the "green" leader.

Creatively developed key technologies and core equipment such as upflow multistage anaerobic reactor and granular sludge calcification inhibition technology, realized the localization of core technologies and key equipment for organic wastewater treatment in papermaking and fermentation industries, fought for 10 years, and successfully developed "key technologies and applications for recycling and ultra-low emission of typical papermaking and fermentation wastewater". It has completely ended the era when foreign enterprises relied on technology monopoly for 30 years to make high profits. The achievement won the second prize of the 2016 National Science and Technology Progress Award. At present, it is continuously promoting industrial application, and more than 100 projects have been promoted in China, Russia, Belarus, Myanmar, India and other countries and regions.
