After decades of efforts, metallurgical engineering discipline in our country has initially formed a relatively complete scientific and technological innovation system from basic research to industrial application. China has approved the establishment of more than 10 first-level doctoral programs in metallurgical engineering, formed a large-scale metallurgical engineering higher education system, approved the establishment of 5 state key laboratories, covering new technology of iron and steel metallurgy, powder metallurgy, refractory materials, special steel metallurgy and preparation, advanced steel process and other fields.
In order to dedicate the achievements of metallurgical engineering from basic research to industrial application in the past 20 years to the researchers and teaching staff in the field of metallurgy in China, especially the young scholars engaged in basic research, and help them better condenze the core scientific problems of chemical engineering in recent years, Learn how China's outstanding metallurgical workers, starting from the domestic and foreign status quo of the research field to be launched in this discipline, find out the main scientific problems and technical bottlenecks, propose solutions, and how to make innovative discoveries and breakthrough progress through in-depth research and move towards the scientific inquiry method of industrial application.
