The dual-power intelligent vulcanizing machine was developed by Guorao Rubber Industry Research Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and was put into use in the vulcanizing workshop of Shandong Qilun Rubber Co., LTD., in November 2020, and its "predecessor" was a traditional mechanical vulcanizing machine. After a period of comparative use, it was found that the daily output of the modified dual-power intelligent vulcanizer was 8% higher than that of the traditional mechanical vulcanizer, and the shaping accuracy was more accurate, so as to reduce the scrap rate and improve product quality. At the same time, the mechanical vulcanization machine can operate a maximum of about 10 units, and the intelligent machine can operate 15 units at the same time, and the efficient working efficiency is undoubtedly a major breakthrough for the rubber tire industry. In December last year, Shandong Huasheng Rubber Group issued relevant documents, planning to transform 61 vulcanizing machines in its companies, and the first batch of 14 vulcanizing machines are currently being transformed, which greatly reduces the input cost of enterprises.

Guangrao Rubber Industry Research Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology is a new research and development institution jointly established by Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Guangrao County government. Lin Guangyi, the leader of research and development of dual-power intelligent vulcanizing machine and president of Guangrao Rubber Industry Research Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, said. "Using the original mechanical mechanism of the mechanical vulcanization machine, introducing advanced hydraulic control, electrical control, automatic control and intelligent control system, so that the entire old equipment is upgraded into an intelligent vulcanization machine" has become the research and development topic of Lin Guangyi and his team.
