2, the working environment of chemical enterprises is relatively not so comfortable, chemical parks are usually far away from the central city, life is inconvenient, and commuting time is long. Need to work in the field, the working environment is certainly not as good as sitting in the office, cold winter hot summer, hot sun rain is the norm. In addition, there are additional occupational safety issues such as exposure to toxic, hazardous, flammable and explosive substances.

3, front-line personnel usually have to shift, many chemical plants require undergraduate graduates who have just entered the factory to first go to the production line to shift for a period of time, the black and white reversal of work and rest does make many people not used to.

The above are the truth, the children who have learned chemical industry will not feel that the future is dark, in fact, it is unnecessary.

First of all, for undergraduates majoring in chemical engineering. Since I am an undergraduate, I have the advantage of strong plasticity and high flexibility. I do not need to consider my professional background too much, and I can jump out of the chemical industry when I am employed. You only need to understand the whereabouts of previous graduates to know that the proportion of chemical graduates to change careers is very high, professional is not a problem.

Second, even into the chemical industry, it is not necessary to evolve factories, you can consider upstream and downstream related enterprises. Even if the evolutionary factory does not necessarily have to enter the production pit, there are many other job opportunities, such as technology, mechanical and electrical equipment, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain, quality, etc., the key is to suit yourself.

Finally, if you are not employed, you can continue your education and change your major when you take the postgraduate entrance exam, but this path is more difficult.

In short, for undergraduates, entering the chemical major is not too terrible, young is capital, want to change there are many opportunities.

Even in the dry chemical industry, it is not all as low as everyone thinks. Chemical industry is a technology and capital intensive industry in developed countries, and a labor and capital intensive industry in China. This difference is caused by national conditions, on the one hand, many chemical enterprises are state-owned enterprises, have the task of ensuring employment, to absorb a large number of employment population every year, most of them are not high added value and dirty and tired low-end work, so drag down the level of treatment of the industry. On the other hand, the gap between the technical level of domestic enterprises and the international chemical giants is still very large, and the research and development investment is insufficient, and the profit cannot be guaranteed if the high-end market is not entered.

However, at present, the trend of upgrading the domestic manufacturing industry is becoming more and more obvious, and a large number of enterprises have emerged in the middle and high-end market and can compete with foreign giants. The chemical industry is also in this context, with the tightening of national policies, backward technology, environmental protection standards, small enterprises will be gradually eliminated, the industry concentration will be enhanced, the position of the industry leader will be further strengthened, and bring about the improvement of profitability, as capital, domestic enterprises to catch up with foreign giants will enter the fast lane.

On the other hand, the end of the domestic demographic dividend, the new labor force began to decrease, and the cost of employing people will become more and more expensive, which will force enterprises to improve the automation and intelligence level of factories, and low value-added jobs will gradually decrease. In this respect, the gap between us and first-class enterprises is still very large, until we can match first-class enterprises, the output of unit personnel will be greatly improved, which is the fundamental improvement of the treatment level of the chemical industry.

In the future, the domestic chemical industry will definitely change to a technology-intensive direction to achieve industrial upgrading and catch up with international first-class chemical enterprises. We can look at how many chemical companies in the world's top 500, these top 500 chemical companies in addition to two barrels of oil monopoly state-owned enterprises and how many Chinese companies, this situation shows the gap in the domestic chemical industry, but also shows that we still have great potential. One day we will have our own BASF, Bayer, DuPont, Dow... If you don't see this big trend, you can't feel the future of chemical industry.
