02 When we talk about the concept of "power glass", what are we actually talking about?

Therefore, strictly speaking, there is no so-called "power glass" at present.

Of course, the power generation glass made by crystalline silicon cells is also a similar power generation principle. But because crystalline silicon batteries can't be made so small and ultra-thin, they will be a little cumbersome.
However, standing in the mainstream, the current so-called power generation glass is a product series based on crystalline silicon cells and with double glass components as the core. Cadmium telluride power generation glass, domestic mature enterprises are not many, only a few products such as Longyan Energy launched to enter the market.
From the maturity of the product series and the market share, crystalline silicon materials based module products, probably occupy more than 85% of the photovoltaic market, while cadmium telluride and other thin film battery modules, the market share of no more than 15%.
