The reclaimed land can be cultivated and afforested.

The newly restored 130 mu of cultivated land in Dongliangzhuang village is covered with selenium-rich soil, which is very suitable for planting local advantageous agricultural products such as sweet potato, sorghum and corn. In 2022, the annual income of the village collective will be increased by more than 250,000 yuan, and the average annual income of the village collective residents will be increased by about 4,000 yuan, achieving a win-win situation between ecological restoration and farmers' income increase.

The total number of repaired mines in the city is 417, and the total area of repaired is 20698.99 mu, involving urban areas, mining areas, suburbs, Yu County and Pingding County. A total of 23 governance project areas have been formed.
