3. The 7th General meeting of China Chemical Fiber Association was successfully held

Jiang Shicheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, consultant of Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company, formerly served as Deputy general manager and chief engineer of Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company, and member of Science and Technology Committee of Sinopec Corporation. He is an expert in chemical fiber engineering design and technology management in China, and one of the main pioneers in polyester industry engineering. In 1999, Jiang Shicheng was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, won the Engineering Award of Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award in 2006, and won the Lifetime Achievement Award of China Chemical Fiber Industry in 2021.

5. China's carbon fiber industry ushered in a new stage of development

On September 8, 2021, China's first 10,000-ton carbon fiber production base invested by China Building Materials was put into operation in Xining City, Qinghai Province. With a total investment of 5 billion yuan, the project for the first time realized the design of a single line with an annual output of 3,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber production line and the independent control of high-end complete sets of technology, especially the project was selected as the "Top Ten super projects of central enterprises in 2021".
