3. The 7th General meeting of China Chemical Fiber Association was successfully held

On March 16, 2021, the seventh General Assembly of China Chemical Fiber Association and the seventh session of the first Council and the seventh session of the Standing Council were held in Shanghai. 4. Jiang Shicheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, won the award of Moving petrochemical figure

Jiang Shicheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was honored as a touched petrochemical figure. Jiang Shicheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, consultant of Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company, formerly served as Deputy general manager and chief engineer of Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company, and member of Science and Technology Committee of Sinopec Corporation. He is an expert in chemical fiber engineering design and technology management in China, and one of the main pioneers in polyester industry engineering. In 1999, Jiang Shicheng was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, won the Engineering Award of Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award in 2006, and won the Lifetime Achievement Award of China Chemical Fiber Industry in 2021.

5. China's carbon fiber industry ushered in a new stage of development

China's carbon fiber industry has really developed since 2005, just across the "eleventh Five-Year Plan", "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and "thirteenth Five-Year Plan", through the ups and downs of 15 years, in the relevant departments of the state, units, associations, enterprises under the full cooperation to develop rapidly, improve the technical level, formed a number of key enterprises with considerable market competitiveness, In 2021, the annual sales volume exceeded 10,000 tons, and the whole industry made a profit, indicating that China's carbon fiber industry as a whole has reached the international advanced level. Overall, the carbon fiber industry has ushered in a new stage of development and is entering a healthy development track.

On September 8, 2021, China's first 10,000-ton carbon fiber production base invested by China Building Materials was put into operation in Xining City, Qinghai Province. With a total investment of 5 billion yuan, the project for the first time realized the design of a single line with an annual output of 3,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber production line and the independent control of high-end complete sets of technology, especially the project was selected as the "Top Ten super projects of central enterprises in 2021".
