In order to celebrate the centennial birthday of the Party, the journal of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association "China Chemical Fiber" has opened a special column of "Salute to the centennial style", which shows how enterprises in the chemical fiber industry take the party building as the banner and lead the high-quality development of industry enterprises through the invitation to the Party committee or Party secretary of chemical fiber related enterprises or interviews and records the deeds of outstanding party members. Show how excellent party members in the chemical fiber industry "do not forget the original heart, keep in mind the mission" in their work practice, contribute their wisdom and sweat, and demonstrate their responsibility and responsibility.

8. The chemical fiber industry is generally running well

Since 2021, the chemical fiber industry has faced complex challenges at home and abroad, especially in the second half of the year, the epidemic situation in many places in China has increased, and the dual control of energy consumption has continued to increase, which has a significant impact on the recovery rate of the main operating indicators of the industry, but the chemical fiber industry is generally running well. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to October, the production of chemical fiber was 55.71 million tons, an increase of 11.8%; The chemical fiber industry achieved operating income of 835.6 billion yuan, an increase of 31.5%, and the total profit of 53.9 billion yuan, an increase of 275.6%; Industry profit margins were 6.45%, the second highest since the 2008 economic crisis. The chemical fiber industry contributes 27% of the profits of the entire textile industry.

The industry has achieved such achievements, first thanks to the supply-side structural reform in recent years. First, backward production capacity has been phased out, new production capacity has been effectively controlled, the growth rate of production capacity has slowed down significantly, and the industry supply and demand pattern has improved; Second, with the development of refining and chemical integration, the industrial chain is more perfect, the competitiveness of integrated enterprises, anti-risk ability is enhanced, and the profit distribution of the industrial chain is more balanced; Third, the chemical fiber industry product development continues to strengthen, product differentiation and high quality to meet the domestic and international market demand, which is particularly prominent in the spandex industry. Another bright spot worth paying attention to is that the domestic carbon fiber industry presents a situation of volume, price and liqi. In addition, before the middle of October this year, although the chemical fiber market has fluctuated, it is generally in the rising channel, which has brought inventory surplus of raw materials and products for chemical fiber enterprises. The industry should have a clear understanding of this, and be alert to the "reverse reflux" of overseas textile orders after the decline in international oil prices and the significant relief of the global novel coronavirus epidemic, as well as the concentrated production of new capacity, which may bring greater risks to the chemical fiber industry.
