On December 11, the 2021 China Chemical Fiber Association Carbon Fiber Branch Annual Meeting and C8 Hainan Forum co-sponsored by China Chemical Fiber Association and Jiangsu Hengshen Stock was held in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Combined with the development of the conference and industry enterprises, Duan Xiaoping put forward four suggestions: First, rational investment, scientific planning of the "14th Five-Year Plan" development; The second is to do a good job of application scenarios and market segmentation research, looking for the next possible application blue ocean after wind power; Third, the carbon fiber branch may consider setting up a standardization working group and an application basic database working group to focus on industry standard construction and data research to give better support to the future development of the industry; Fourth, it may be considered that the association may take the lead in submitting a report to the relevant government departments on the appropriate tilt of the energy consumption dual control policy to the carbon fiber industry. Finally, Xiaoping called on the whole industry and entrepreneurs to plan ahead, devote themselves to research and development, scientific planning, and rational development, jointly maintain today's hard-won good situation, and jointly promote the stable and healthy development of the carbon fiber industry.

Under the epidemic, the two heavyweight events of China's chemical fiber industry - China Chemical Fiber Technology Conference (Nantong 2021) and the 27th China International Chemical Fiber Conference (Siyang 2021) were successfully held in May and October 2021, respectively.
