Functional Features

Comprehensive I/O Processing Capability: It can flexibly process a variety of analog and digital input and output signals, with 8 analog input channels, 4 analog output channels, 32 digital input channels, and 16 digital output channels, which can realize efficient data acquisition and transmission, and satisfy the processing requirements of different types of signals in complex industrial control systems.

Powerful processing capability: Equipped with a powerful processor, it can efficiently perform control logic, arithmetic and signal processing tasks, quickly and accurately analyze and process the collected data, and carry out arithmetic and decision-making according to the preset control strategy to ensure stable operation and precise control of the system.

Flexible communication function: It supports various communication protocols, such as LonTalk and Modbus, etc., which enables it to realize interoperability with different manufacturers and types of equipment, and facilitates data exchange and collaborative work with other intelligent devices, host computer systems or other distributed control systems.

Technical Parameters

Power supply: 24V DC power supply is used to ensure that the module can obtain stable power in the industrial environment, providing reliable energy support for the internal circuits and connected external devices.

Operating temperature range: The operating temperature range is from - 40°C to + 70°C, which has a wide temperature adaptability and can work normally in harsh industrial environment temperature conditions, such as high temperature steel mills, cold outdoor substations, and so on.

Dimensions: Length, width and height are approximately 144mm x 176mm x 48mm, compact size, easy to install and layout in the control cabinet or other narrow space, help to save the system installation space.

Supported ABB I/O Systems and Families

• S800 I/O, a distributed modular I/O system for communication via ModuleBus  and PROFIBUS DP. 

• S900 I/O, a remote I/O system (for hazardous areas) that can be connected to  PLCs via PROFIBUS DP. 

• S200 I/O and S200L I/O, two compatible, modular I/O systems. S200 I/O  modules can be connected via CI856 or PROFIBUS DP to PLCs. • S100 I/O, a rack-based I/O system that can be connected to PLC using the  CI856 interface module. 

• Satt I/O, makes it possible to use Satt Rack I/O (an older Satt I/O system)  connected to PLC using the CI865 communication interface.
